I am blessed to have former Penn State coach Booker Brooks as my guest this week. Booker coached at PSU from 1968-1983 mostly as a wide receiver coach. He coached 3 different outstanding groups of wide receivers during his Penn State tenure. In 1973 he had Gary Hayman, Jimmy Scott and Chuck Hurd, in 1977 he coached Jimmy Cefalo, Scott Fitzkee, Tom Donovan and Bob Bassett and in 1982 he coached Gregg Garrity, Kenny Jackson and Kevin Baugh. Booker left Penn State to become the offensive coordinator at Oregon State in 1984 under head coach Joe Avezzano. He joined John Gutekunst's staff at Minnesota in 1986 through the 1991 season. Booker shares some great stories during his coaching years.
