Ross Browner passed away on January 4, 2022. We honor him by re-airing this podcast.
When you talk about the greatest college defensive players in history, Ross Browner has to come to mind. Ross played at Notre Dame (1973, 1975-1977) and with the Cincinnati Bengals (1978-1986). He was privileged to be a part of 2 national championships with Notre Dame (1973, 1977) and appeared in Super Bowl XVI. Ross won the Outland Trophy in 1976 and the Maxwell Award in 1977. He was the UPI Lineman of the Year in both 1976 and 1977. Listen in as Ross discusses his career and he is very candid about both of his national championships, along with being the only player to sack Joe Montana in Super Bowl history.
