Talking College Football History: Randy McEachern

We continue our look at that great 1977 college football season this week.  Texas was the only undefeated team before the bowl games that season and our guest was the quarterback of that team.  Randy McEachern joins us to talk about that great season and how his career transpired.  Randy started the 1977 season as the 4th string QB and moved up to 3rd on the depth chart before the season started due to a QB injury.  In the 4th game of the year against Oklahoma, starting QB Mark McBath broke his ankle on the 7th play from scrimmage and backup Jon Aune injured his knee 9 plays later.  Randy came into the game and led the Longhorns to an undefeated regular season.  Randy tells some great Longhorn stories in this look back to possibly the greatest season in college football history.
