Talking College Football History: Pete Woods

We go back to the mid-1970s this week into the old Big Eight Conference to take a look at the Missouri football program.  Quarterback Pete Woods joins us this week to talk about his career and shares memories of how tough the Big Eight Conference was and where Missouri was in the mix.  Pete played from 1974-1977 and in 1976, the Missouri Tigers played 7 ranked teams, winning 5 of those games (4 on the road).  Pete beat #2 Ohio State in Columbus 22-21 and also #3 Nebraska in Lincoln 34-24 in 1976.  He also talks about the lack of depth back then and how competitive the Tigers were in the conference.
