We travel back in the time machine this week to Chestnut Hill, MA in the early to mid-1970s with our guest Mike Esposito. Mike was a running back for Boston College from 1972-1974 and quite a good one. He still is in the Top 10 in some categories at BC: #9 in Career Rushing Yards with 2,759, #10 in Single Season Rushing Yards with 1,289 in 1973, #10 in Career Rushing TDs with 24 and #4 in Single Season Rushing TDs with 15 in 1973. Mike accomplished all of this while only playing 3 years as Freshmen were ineligible when he played (1971). He played for legendary BC coach Joe Yukica and helped lead BC to winning records in 1973 and 1974. Mike was drafted in the 7th round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons and played 3 years in the NFL. Listen to Mike tell stories about his great high school and college years as we turn the clock back about 50 years.
