Talking College Football History: Kermit Johnson

We go back in time to the early 1970s in Los Angeles, CA.  Our guest this week played for the UCLA Bruins (1971-1973) and is one of the best running backs in their history.  Kermit Johnson joins us this week to talk about his career at UCLA.  He was recruited in the Tommy Prothro era, then Pepper Rodgers became the head coach in 1971.  Kermit was a true I-back playing in the wishbone formation under Pepper Rodgers.  His quarterback in 1972-1973 was Mark Harmon of NCIS fame.  Kermit has some great memories to share about his career at UCLA which culminated in a 17-5 record his junior/senior seasons with no bowl appearances.
