I honor former USC head coach John McKay this week and am privileged to interview his son and former USC wide receiver, J.K. McKay. John McKay is the winningest coach in USC football history. He coached at USC from 1959-1975 and was the head coach from 1960-1975. John won 9 conference championships and 4 national championships. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988. John went on to coach in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1976-1984. J.K. played for his father at USC from 1971-1974 and at Tampa Bay from 1976-1978. J.K. caught the game-winning TD pass in the 1974 Rose Bowl to win a share of the national championship. Enjoy this tribute to John McKay with his son J.K. McKay.
