Talking College Football History: John Lastinger

Former Georgia QB John Lastinger joins us this week. John was at Georgia from 1979-1983 and was the starting QB from 1982-1983. This was quite possibly the best run in Georgia football history. Georgia played in 3 Sugar Bowls (1980, 1981 and 1982 seasons) along with a Cotton Bowl (1983 season). The Bulldogs won the National Championship in 1980 by beating 7th ranked Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl 17-10. Along with that, they played for a national title in 1981 and 1982. John had two great seasons at QB and shares some great memories from those days.
