This week we mix football with professional wrestling.  Greg Gagne joins us to talk about his football career at Minnesota, then Wyoming.  Greg is from the legendary Verne Gagne family (Verne being his father), but Greg states that his father never pushed him into a particular sport.  He walked on at Minnesota (1967-1968).  Minnesota wanted to move him to defensive back, which prompted Greg's transfer to Wyoming, where he saw time at quarterback in 1970-1971.  Everyone I spoke with about Greg Gagne stated he had a great arm and was better suited in a passing offense.  Greg was also a professional wrestler from 1972-1991.  He is currently working with a group that is bringing back the wrestling action figures.  The website is www.powertownwrestling.com and he is currently with the original Remco Toy company to produce these figures.
