Talking College Football History: Gerry DiNardo

I take the time machine back to South Bend, Indiana this week. We travel back over 50 years ago to the 1973 National Championship with my guest, Gerry DiNardo. Gerry was an offensive lineman from 1972-1974 for Notre Dame. He followed his brother Larry to South Bend and was part of a great 3-year tenure under the tutelage of Ara Parseghian. He won the National Championship at Notre Dame in 1973 and played on Ara's last team in 1974. Gerry coached when he graduated from Notre Dame for many years and was the head coach at Vanderbilt, LSU and Indiana after he helped rebuild Colorado under Bill McCartney. You can see Gerry today as an analyst in the studio of the Big Ten Network.
