We are going back to the 1973 National Championship this week with our guest Frank Pomarico. Frank was an offensive lineman on that great Notre Dame Fighting Irish team. Notre Dame capped off that season with a thrilling 24-23 victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to win the National Championship. Frank talks about that season, along with his career at Notre Dame (1971-1973). He also played for legendary coach Ara Parseghian and wrote a book about him called Ara's Knights. Enjoy this look back at those great Notre Dame teams in the early 1970s with Frank Pomarico.
