Talking College Football History: Don Gaffney and Gerald Loper

We visit Florida Gator nation this week.  I would like to say we are visiting The Swamp, but that moniker didn't happen until 1992.  So we will visit Florida Field and its artificial turf this week.  Our guests are Don Gaffney and Gerald Loperwho played on the 1973,1974 and 1975 teams that were the first Florida teams to play in 3 consecutive bowl games.  Gaffney was the first African-American quarterback in Florida history and the 2nd in SEC history (behind Condredge Holloway).  Loper was an offensive lineman and had to change to the wishbone offense midway through his Florida career.
