We are blessed to have one of the best running backs in Minnesota Golden Gopher history as our guest this week.  Darrell Thompson played from 1986-1989 under head coach John Gutekunst who had taken over for Lou Holtz.  Darrell is listed as the 2nd all-time leading rusher in Minnesota history behind Mohamed Ibrahim.  However, bowl rushing stats didn't count prior to 2002.  Therefore, he is the all-time rushing leader if you subtract all bowl game stats since 2002.  Darrell had speed, power and grace on the football field.  He also had a couple of productive years with the Green Bay Packers in the early 1990s.  Darrell talks about his career at Minnesota and also his career after football as the leader of the non-profit organization Bolder Options.
