Coach Chris Rippon joins me this week. Chris played his college football at Southern Connecticut State University, which was where he first met Paul Pasqualoni. He started his coaching tenure at Western Connecticut State University under head coach Paul Pasqualoni. When Pasqualoni left for Syracuse, Chris became the head coach in 1987 at the age of 26. After 3 years as Western Connecticut's head coach and 3 years as an assistant at Boston University, he was out of a job. His mentor, Paul Pasqualoni, hired him at Syracuse and he served under him until the staff got fired after the 2004 season. Chris coached until 2022, then started Coach Rip Consulting, LLC to work with specialty players.
