I am joined this week by Bill Hillgrove, longtime Pitt announcer. Not only does Bill announce Pitt football, he still announces Pitt basketball and also was the Steelers play-by-play radio announcer from 1994-2023. Bill is still going strong at age 85. He has covered Pitt football since 1969 and revisits some of his memorable moments. Bill also discusses some experiences in juggling his schedule as he announced Pitt football, Pitt basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers which all were playing in November. Bill was the winner of the Chris Schenkel Award in 2007 and continues to be one of the iconic broadcasters in the history of sports.
