Talking College Football History: Alfred Anderson

We travel to Waco, TX this week and take the time machine back to the early 1980s with our guest, Alfred Anderson. Alfred walked the Baylor campus in the early 1980s in the footsteps of some great running backs that preceded him: Greg Hawthorne, Frank Pollard and Walter Abercrombie to name a few. Alfred was recruited as a veer-option quarterback out of high school and was recruited heavily by Bill Yeoman of Houston. But he chose to stay home in Waco and attend Baylor. At Baylor he was converted to running back and made a name for himself with an outstanding career from 1980-1983. He went on to star in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and became a solid fullback, rushing for over 2,000 yards in his NFL career. Join us as Alfred shares some great stories about his football career.
