We celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Indiana Hoosiers first ever bowl win this week on the podcast. That win came in the 1979 Holiday Bowl against undefeated BYU. Our guests this week are QB Tim Clifford and WR Mike Friede. Indiana appeared in only one other bowl game to that point and it was after their 9-1 1967 season (1968 Rose Bowl, which lost 14-3 to USC). The Hoosiers had a remarkable season in 1979 which culminated in one of the best Holiday Bowl games in history. Lee Corso coached this team so sit back and listen in while Tim Clifford and Mike Friede discuss that season and Indiana football.
