We are going back to the mid-1960s this week. Our guest is Ken Kmiec, who played at Illinois from 1965-1967. Ken was a freshman in 1964 when Dick Butkus and Jim Grabowski were his teammates. Ken also played for Coach Pete Elliott for the first three years, then the "Slush Fund Scandal" hit Illinois and Pete Elliott was dismissed. Enjoy this look back at Illinois football in the mid-1960s, when Illinois was a factor in the Big 10 conference.
