Talking College Football History: Bob Crable

Our guest this week is a "Tackling Machine"! Bob Crable played the linebacker position at Notre Dame from 1978-1981. He came out of Cincinnati Moeller High School with a 3-year record of 36-0. His legendary career at Notre Dame culminated in 521 total tackles which is still a Notre Dame record to this day. He did it while playing at the end of the Dan Devine era and the beginning of the Gerry Faust era. Bob was a 1st round (Overall 23rd) pick of the New York Jets in the 1982 NFL Draft and had a very good, injury riddled career with the Jets from 1982-1987. Listen in as Bob talks about his high school, college and NFL career with many stories that will keep you captivated. It is with honor to present Bob Crable as this week's guest on Talking Penn State and College Football History.
