When you think of great coaches in the 1970s and 1980s the likes of Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Joe Paterno, Bear Bryant, Barry Switzer, Tom Osborne along with others come to mind. Is Coach Jim Young on that list? If not, you should re-evaluate your list. This man is one of the best coaches in that time period at multiple schools and had great success at every school he coached. He is known at Purdue from 1977-1981 (Mark Herrmann was his QB for most of that stint), but the success he had at Army in the 1980s was unbelievable. He has a 5-1 overall bowl record, which includes 2-1 at Army. We are very privileged to have Coach Young as our guest this week and we hope you enjoy our visit with him.
