Talking College Football History: Frank Kush Tribute

I honor legendary college football coach Frank Kush this week. Frank passed away on June 22, 2017, at age 88 and I am blessed to have his son Danny Kush to talk about his father. He was the head coach at Arizona State from 1958-1979 and had a career record of 176-54-1. Frank won 9 conference championships in his tenure (2 Border Conference and 7 Western Athletic Conference). He won the Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year 5 times (1963, 1970, 1971, 1975 and 1977) and the AFCA and Walter Camp Coach of the Year in 1975. Frank was noted for his extremely hard pre-season practices and only had 1 losing season in his tenure at Arizona State. From a 1st team All-American in 1952 to College Hall of Famer in 1995, enjoy this tribute to Frank Kush with his son, Danny Kush.
