Jenna McEachern joins me this week to discuss her book DKR: The Royal Scrapbook. Jenna published this book in 2012, and I had the privilege of reading it a year ago. This book is similar to a coffee table book, but more of a square shape. There are many photos, letters, telegrams, etc... throughout the book. I found myself reading these images along with the text. This is a comprehensive biography of Darrell Royal, the former University of Texas football coach. The book was published a couple of months before Darrell's death, and he would approve of this thorough biography. Jenna does a tremendous job of taking the material from Edith Royal, Darrell's wife, and organizing it into a great book.
