Tom Tarver joins me this week on the podcast. Tom played at Rutgers from 1988-1991. He sat behind Scott Erney in 1988-1989 and then got his chance to start and lead the Rutgers football squad in 1990. Doug Graber became the Rutgers head coach in 1990 and Tom flourished under his tutelage. Rutgers played a big-time schedule in 1990 and Tom takes them from a 3-8 season to a 6-5 season in 1991. Tom discusses his time at Rutgers and then how his experience helped him during his life after football.
