Talking College Football History: Aaron Wallace

We revisit those great defenses of Texas A&M in the mid to late 1980s with our guest Aaron Wallace. Aaron came to College Station, TX in the fall of 1985 out of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Dallas, TX. He played from 1985-1989 (redshirting in 1985) and became one of the early "edge" rushers in college football history. Aaron played for Jackie Sherrill from 1985-1988, then his defensive coordinator, R.C. Slocum, became the Aggies head coach for his senior season. He is still the career leader in sacks at Texas A&M with 42, 5 ahead of Jacob Green. Aaron was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Raiders and had a successful NFL career.
