Talking College Football History: Steve Korte

We take the time machine back to the late 1970s/early 1980s in Fayetteville, Arkansas with our guest Steve Korte.  Steve is arguably the strongest player in Razorback history as he bench-pressed 585 lbs. back in the day.  He traveled from Centennial High School in Arapahoe, Colorado to Fayetteville to play for Coach Lou Holtz.  Steve earned consensus All-American in 1982 along with his teammate Billy Ray Smith, Jr., while his Arkansas teams appeared in 5 bowl games in his career (Steve was redshirted in 1979).  He was a 2nd round pick in the 1983 NFL Draft and was considered one of the best run blockers in the game while transitioning to the Center position.  We hope you enjoy this trip back in time to Arkansas Razorback land with our guest Steve Korte.
