You should recognize the last name of our guest this week as they are quite a family of football players through the generations. Our guest is Jake Kupp and he is the grandfather of Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp. Jake had a son play in the NFL (Craig) along with 2 grandsons, Cooper and Ketner. But Jake may be the best of them all. He played for Washington from 1961-1963 and capped off his senior season with an appearance in the Rose Bowl. Jake was a 9th round NFL draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys but had a long career in the NFL (1964-1975) with most of those years with the expansion New Orleans Saints. Jake also played a role in the 1969 film Number One starring Charlton Heston. We hope you enjoy this conversation with Jake Kupp and one of the best families in NFL history.
