We head down to Waco, Texas this week with our guest Frank Ditta. Frank graduated from high school in Houston, TX in 1976 and headed to Norman, Oklahoma to join the Sooners squad which won 2 consecutive National Championships in 1974 and 1975. After one year, he relocated closer to home to join the Baylor Bears. Frank played at Baylor from 1978-1980 and participated in 2 bowl games for the Bears. He was part of the 1979 Peach Bowl when Baylor defeated a good Clemson team 24-18. In 1980, only a loss to San Jose State prevented Baylor from being undefeated in the regular season. They did win the Southwest Conference and accepted a bid to play Alabama in the Cotton Bowl. Frank shares some great stories about his experience at Baylor with legendary coach Grant Teaff and participating in the Southwest Conference.
