We travel back in time to Madison, Wisconsin in the late 1960s with our guest this week. Stu Voigt joins us to discuss his career and Wisconsin Badger football from 1967-1969. The Badgers only won 3 games total during Stu's tenure in Madison while enduring a coaching change from Milt Bruhn to John Coatta. Stu also talks about the civil unrest on the Madison campus during this time of the Vietnam War. He was a 10th round pick in the 1970 NFL Draft by the Vikings and what a steal that was. Stu played Tight End for the Vikings from 1970-1980 and appeared in 3 Super Bowls (VIII, IX, and XI). He became Fran Tarkenton's starting TE in 1973 and also appeared in the famous "Hail Mary" game.
