Talking College Football History: Greg Davis

With us this week is Coach Greg Davis.  Greg played at McNeese State from 1970-1972 and started his college coaching career at Texas A&M in 1978 under Emory Bellard (Bellard invented the wishbone offense).  He had a brief stint as the head coach of Tulane in the late-1980s, but is most remembered for his time with Mack Brown as his offensive coordinator.  This includes his stint at Texas working with QBs Major Applewhite, Chris Simms, Vince Young and Colt McCoy.  He also coached Eric Zeier at Georgia in the mid-1990s.  Coach Davis is full of stories about his career and what college football was like when he coached.
