We have one of the captains of the 1973 Notre Dame national championship team this week.  Mike Townsend joins us to talk about his years at Notre Dame (1971-1973).  Mike not only played football for Ara Parseghian, but he was also a part of the basketball team and played for Digger Phelps.  Mike was a defensive back on the football team and his brother Willie was a wide receiver.  Willie also played basketball with Mike and they are unique in the fact that both brothers played football and basketball at a Division I school.  Mike shares stories about his Notre Dame career, playing on a national championship team and also being a part of the rebuilding of Notre Dame basketball.
