Steve Searer joins me on the podcast this week. Steve was a walk-on player at Penn State from 1983-1985. He was a 3-sport athlete at Chief Logan High School (30 miles south of University Park). In his senior year, the football team was 11-0, the basketball team made it to the Final Four of the PIAA tournament and the baseball team qualified for District playoffs. Steve shares stories about his career and what it was like walking on to a Division I program playing special teams and in the defensive backfield, as well as playing for the National Championship in the 1986 Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.
