Talking Penn State Football History: Jim Bradley

Dr. Jim Bradley, the Pittsburgh Steelers' team physician, joins us this week. Jim has been the Steelers' team physician since 1991, but did you know he played at Penn State on some of their great teams? Jim is part of a Penn State football family that also includes brothers Tom and Matt. Jim played at Penn State from 1972-1974 (Freshman weren't eligible in 1971) and his teams had a combined record of 32-4 including a 2-1 bowl record. The 1973 team went 12-0. Jim played in the secondary on some of Penn State's best defensive teams in history. He signed with Cincinnati as a free agent in 1975 but didn't make the team. He then pursued medicine and the rest is history. Jim has many accolades as an orthopedic physician and is regarded as one of the best team physicians in the NFL.
