We take a look back at the 40th anniversary of Penn State's first national championship season this week. Our guest is Chris Sydnor who played defensive back on that squad. Chris played at PSU from 1981-1984. We not only discuss that national championship season, including the victory over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, but also the rebuild of the Nittany Lions to lead into the 1985-1986 seasons, which culminated in Penn State's 2nd national championship. Chris was a vital part of the rebuild as well and led the team in interceptions with 5 in 1984.
