Talking Penn State and College Football History: Robert Alexander

We are privileged this week to have the 1976 National High School Player of the Year as our guest this week. His name is Robert Alexander. Robert was a product of South Charleston High School (WV) and played at West Virginia University. He struggled in the veer offense until Coach Don Nehlen arrived on the scene in 1980, Robert's senior year. Had Robert played in the I-formation, he may very well be the leading rusher in WVU history to this day, and that is quite an accomplishment considering he played after Artie Owens. Robert played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1982-1983 and I have enjoyed speaking with him over the past few months as he has overcome some tremendous obstacles and is a true follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Enjoy this conversation with Robert as he talks about his football career.
