Bill Crummy joins me this week on the podcast. Bill came out of Mars High School, north of Pittsburgh. He escaped the Johnny Majors regime at Pitt to migrate to Happy Valley. I met Bill and was shocked as to how small he was. He was very fast and tough for a player with a wiry frame. Bill ended up playing his freshman season in 1975 in the defensive backfield. He suffered an injury which curtailed his career in 1977. Bill was successful in his professional life after football which was a testament to Penn State's "Grand Experiment".
