Author Rich Westcott joins me this week to discuss his book The Champions of Philadelphia. The book was published in 2016 and therefore does not include the Eagles Super Bowl teams of 2017 and 2024. Most people forget about the Philadelphia Athletics (A's) because they moved to Kansas City in 1954, but they had a couple of dynasties which led to 5 World Series wins. Rich covers each championship team through the year 2016 and each chapter was fun to read. He wrote the chapter so that anyone would enjoy it whether you are a fan of that team/sport or not. Rich has written 28 books, and you can find them at www.richwestcott.com. Rich is an "encyclopedia" of Philadelphia sports, and it was a pleasure to interview him.
