Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand and America’s online leader for car buyers, and EchoPark Automotive, one of the nation’s top sellers of pre-owned vehicles, are partnering with Dover Motor Speedway on The Monster Mile’s signature event of 2025, track and company officials said today.
The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on Sunday, July 20 (2 p.m., TNT, Performance Racing Network) is the centerpiece of Dover Motor Speedway’s July 18-20 NASCAR tripleheader weekend and the 107th NASCAR Cup Series race at The Monster Mile.
Autotrader, founded in 1997 and a Cox Automotive™ brand, provides car buyers and sellers with the largest online market in the country and has revolutionized the third-party automotive purchase experience. Echo Park Automotive, a used-car dealership chain, has locations in more than 20 states. Its parent company, Sonic Automotive, was founded in 1997 by the late O. Bruton Smith, the founder of Speedway Motorsports.
“Teamed with Echopark Automotive and Dover Motor Speedway, we are thrilled for what will be an exciting race weekend,” said Ken Kraft, chief marketing and sales officer for Cox Automotive. “Our longstanding NASCAR and EchoPark partnership allows us to connect with car buyers and sellers, while supporting motorsports with events such as the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400. We are looking forward to seeing this race come to life at Dover Motor Speedway.”
The partnership with Dover Motor Speedway comes after Autotrader’s successful sponsorship of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway every season since 2020. This collaboration allows Autotrader to expand its motorsports presence in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions. Würth, Dover Motor Speedway’s NASCAR Cup Series entitlement partner in 2023 and 2024, will remain in the Speedway Motorsports family with the May 4 WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
“We’re excited to welcome Autotrader and EchoPark Automotive to The Monster Mile’s family of partners,” said Mike Tatoian, Dover Motor Speedway’s president and general manager. “As we build toward our NASCAR summer action in July, we can’t wait for our new partners to contribute to and enjoy all the free family fun and thrills that makes a Dover race weekend a must-visit stop for all of NASCAR Nation.”
The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 is also race No. 4 in NASCAR on TNT’s debut five-race in-season tournament, which runs five consecutive weeks from June 28 (Atlanta) through July 27 (Indianapolis).
2025 marks 56 consecutive years that Dover Motor Speedway has hosted a NASCAR Cup Series event. The Monster Mile is one of only 10 tracks in the country to host 100 or more NASCAR Cup Series races.
Evergreen Raceway has without question hosted great divisions over the years and still does, however, it stands to reason that the Tour Type Modifieds remain the premier class and for 2025 the powerful pavement pounders will be back, running in six feature events.
Starting in May and concluding in October with the annual King of the Green, the Tour Type Modifieds will headline the day’s action.
First up will be on May 4 with the following dates on June 15, July 13, August 10, September 7 and the finale on October 25. The first five dates are Sunday afternoons, with the exception of the King of the Green event on October 25, which is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
“It’s important to our fans that the Tour Type Mods are part of the yearly schedule at Evergreen. Those cars have been part of this track since day one with guaranteed great races whenever we host them and we owe it to our fans and those drivers to always make certain that they are here,” said Evergreen owner/promoter Jason Makarewicz.
“To be honest last year was tough because most of the dates we had planned to run the Tour Type Modifieds got weathered out and we ended up with only running three times and one of those races we actually added a date.”
It is noteworthy that last year, Matt Hirschman, a six-time Evergreen Tour Type Modified champion, secured his 52nd victory in the class by winning the first feature on June 30. The following races, held on October 6 and 19, were scored by two promising teenagers, Jayden Harman and Paulie Hartwig III, respectively. Notably, Hartwig’s victory occurred during the King of the Green event.
Four-time Evergreen Modified champion Brian DeFebo holds the record for most wins in class with 58.
Evergreen Raceway will start 2025 in three weeks’ time, on Saturday afternoon, February 22 at 1:00 pm, with a 100-lap 4/6-cylinder Gut-n-Go Enduro, plus an 8-cylinder Enduro feature. A second Enduro will be held March 22.
Weekly point racing at the 1/3-mile paved oval in St. Johns begins with the Winter Thaw presented by Foley Action Track Opening Day on Sunday afternoon, April 13.
The Winter Thaw will be the first of four specially promoted events at Evergreen under the direction of Rich Tobias and will feature the All PRO SpeedSTRs, 602 Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks, Slingshot and Four Cylinders.
The day prior to the Winter Thaw there will be an open practice on Saturday, April 12, for all classes of cars from noon to 4:00 pm or longer if necessary.
Additionally, that day will be the Circle Track Racing Experience. Participants can choose to drive or ride along in either a Modified or Late Model stock car.
Also, an Anything Swap Meet/Yard Sale will take place. Individuals who wish to sell or trade items are invited to participate. Vendor spots are available for $25 each.
Throughout the same day, the first Evergreen Raceway Food Fare will take place, showcasing a wide variety of food truck vendors.
Evergreen Raceway, a 1/3-mile paved oval in St. Johns, Butler Township, Luzerne County, hosts motorsports events from February to November, making it a top entertainment choice in Northeast Pennsylvania.

The multi-million dollar payout includes the event purse for drivers in the Mission Foods and Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series on the national event tour, as well as the year-end championship purse for the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, payouts for the All-Star Callout races in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge in the four professional categories and other incentive programs.
It also includes the payout for a regular season championship, which will be introduced this year and will be awarded to the regular season points leader in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. NHRA is set to award almost $400,000 of additional purse to the regular season champions in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, contributing to the $25 million up for grabs this year during the highly-anticipated 2025 season.
“It is always our goal to incentivize our amazing racers at all levels and we’ve been intently focused on introducing new ways to reward our drivers and race teams. We’re excited to award $25 million to these incredible teams and competitors who race at such a high level and put on a tremendous show for our fans across the country,” NHRA President Glen Cromwell said. “We are thrilled to introduce programs like a regular season championship across our four professional categories, which provides added excitement to the regular season and the world’s biggest drag race, the Cornwell Quality Tools U.S. Nationals. From our specialty races and bonus programs to our battle for regular season and world championships, we are looking forward to a spectacular 2025 season.”
The 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Series season opens March 6-9 with the 56th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at legendary Gainesville Raceway, the first of 14 races during the regular season. The points reset for the championship competitors during the last six races of the year, with the Countdown to the Championship playoffs determining the overall world champion across the NHRA’s four professional categories.
In 2024, Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) claimed world championships in the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Brown won his fourth title in the loaded category, while Prock picked up his first championship in dominant style. Greg Anderson won his sixth world title in Pro Stock in a winner-take-all final round and Herrera rolled to his second straight title.
Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel), Prock, Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and Herrera were the points leaders at the conclusion of the regular season. For more information on NHRA, including the 2025 schedule, visit www.NHRA.com.
The NHRA announced that Amalie Motor Oil will continue as the title sponsor of the 56th annual NHRA Gatornationals at legendary Gainesville Raceway on March 6-9.
The historic Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals will open the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season for the third consecutive year, as the NHRA begins its 74th season of racing. Tickets for the famed event are currently on sale, as all the stars in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle look to put their name in the famed Gatornationals history books.
The NHRA Gatornationals has been of the biggest weekends on the NHRA circuit for more than five decades and Amalie Motor Oil has been a longtime title sponsor of the historic race, with the partnership continuing for the highly-anticipated 2025 race.
“AMALIE Motor Oil is proud to continue as the title sponsor of the NHRA Gatornationals, one of the most iconic events in drag racing history. The Gatornationals represent passion, power, and performance — values AMALIE shares with racers and fans alike,” said AMALIE Motor Oil President and CEO Harry J Barkett. “As we gear up for the 2025 season, we’re excited to fuel the excitement and tradition that make this event a cornerstone of NHRA drag racing. Here’s to another thrilling year at Gainesville Raceway!”
In 2024, Shawn Langdon (Top Fuel), J.R. Todd (Funny Car), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) all won on the hallowed grounds of Gainesville Raceway to open the year. It marked the first double-up victory for Kalitta Motorsports, while six-time world champ Enders won the historic race for the first time.
This year, the loaded weekend at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals will also include the big-money Top Fuel All-Star Callout specialty race on Saturday, March 8, as well as the first race of the 2025 season in the Congruity Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, NHRA Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown, and action in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
“Amalie Motor Oil has been a tremendous partner for so many years and they’ve been a name synonymous with the Gatornationals, one of the biggest races on the NHRA tour,” NHRA Vice President and Chief Development Officer Brad Gerber said. “We’re thrilled to see them continue as the title sponsor of a prestigious event to kick off our 2025 season. Starting the year at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals has provided plenty of excitement the last two seasons and we’re looking forward to another great season of NHRA racing.”
The Gatornationals have been filled with record runs and magical moments for more than 50 years, including eight victories from Funny Car legend John Force. Top Fuel legend Tony Schumacher and reigning Pro Stock world champ Greg Anderson both have five wins at the historic race.
Three-time NHRA Funny Car world champ Ron Capps has four Gatornationals victories, while other stars in action in Gainesville include reigning world champs Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle), Brittany Force, Matt Hagan, Doug Kalitta, Tony Stewart, and many more. Two qualifying sessions will take place on both Friday and Saturday, with the Top Fuel All-Star Callout also taking place on Saturday. That leads into eliminations on Sunday, with drivers aiming to grab a victory to kick off the 2025 NHRA campaign.

Prime Video’s inaugural season of NASCAR Cup Series coverage will greet racing fans with familiar faces when the green flag waves over its exclusive coverage in May. Third-generation racer Corey LaJoie will join host Danielle Trotta to helm Prime Video’s pre- and postrace coverage, live and onsite each week. The streamer hits the ignition switch on its five-race Cup Series package at the Coca-Cola 600, in Charlotte, North Carolina, beginning on May 25th.
LaJoie and Trotta join Prime Video’s previously announced NASCAR broadcast booth consisting of seasoned race announcer Adam Alexander, who will work alongside NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte.
“We are excited to welcome Danielle and Corey to our Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer, Prime Video. “These two professionals have dedicated their careers to NASCAR, and we can’t wait to bring their energy and love for the sport to our inaugural season this summer.”
Danielle Trotta, a veteran NASCAR journalist and key figure in the sport’s media landscape, joins Corey as host for the Prime Video team. With over 15 years of broadcast experience, Trotta has covered NASCAR, Indy Car, the NFL, NBA, MLB, collegiate athletics, Supercross, and Moto GP for some of the biggest broadcasting companies in sports worldwide. In addition to her dual hosting and reporting roles at Mecum Auctions on Motortrend and Max, she also hosts On-Track, airing daily on SiriusXM’s NASCAR channel.
“NASCAR is entering a new frontier by welcoming in their first streaming partner in Prime Video and to be chosen as the host for this inaugural season is a huge honor,” said Trotta. “I’ve covered Corey throughout his respective driving career and can’t wait to join him at the desk, bringing our knowledge and experience to millions of fans beginning with one of the crown jewel NASCAR races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Coca-Cola 600. May can’t come soon enough.”
Corey LaJoie, a third-generation racer whose father and grandfather are members of the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame, joins the team with the most recent experience on the track. LaJoie earned his way to NASCAR’s top series through both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the ARCA Menards Series with nine combined wins. Additionally, 2023 was a career year for LaJoie with two top-5 and three top-10 finishes. He continued his success into 2024, competing with Spire Motorsports in the Daytona 500 before finishing the season with Rick Ware Racing. LaJoie also hosts the popular weekly NASCAR podcast, Stacking Pennies.
“The opportunity to be a part of the inaugural season of Prime Video covering our sport is something I could have never dreamed of,” LaJoie said. “Competing part time in the Cup Series while also joining Danielle Trotta will be a unique combination. My time with a mic, instead of a steering wheel, will certainly give me a new perspective on NASCAR. I am excited to help Amazon deliver fresh and creative coverage that our fans want.”
Richard Childress Racing has announced a multi-year partnership with Bank OZK (Nasdaq: OZK), a nationally recognized leader in the financial services industry. The bank will serve as a primary partner of Kyle Busch and the No. 8 Chevrolet for multiple races throughout the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, beginning at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, March 23.
“We are excited to partner with Richard Childress Racing on their business and on the racetrack,” said George Gleason, Bank OZK Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to cheering on Kyle Busch and team this season.”
With a heritage dating back to 1903, Bank OZK will leverage the RCR partnership to increase their brand exposure with over 75 million loyal NASCAR fans.
In addition to on-car branding, Bank OZK will become RCR’s official banking partner and provide the organization with a comprehensive suite of financial services.
“We’re proud to partner with a true leader in the banking industry,” said Torrey Galida, President of Richard Childress Racing. “Much like everyone here at Richard Childress Racing, Bank OZK has a drive to be the best, to champion teamwork, and to relentlessly pursue excellence. We look forward to welcoming them as a business partner and representing their brand on and off the track this season.”
Roto-Rooter, the country’s largest provider of plumbing repair and sewer and drain cleaning services for 90 years, has partnered with Kubota High Limit Racing as the title sponsor of the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series. The Roto-Rooter Midweek Series, which awards a separate point fund inside the Kubota High Limit Racing Series schedule, will be comprised of 11 races in 2025.
Roto-Rooter will also extend their partnership with NASCAR champion, two-time Knoxville Nationals champion, three-time Chili Bowl champion and Kubota High Limit Racing co-founder Kyle Larson as a partner in his dirt racing schedule in 2025.
“We’re excited to continue to grow our partnership with Kyle (Larson) and the High Limit Racing series,” said Thad Reinhard, President of Roto-Rooter Corporation. “Dirt racing and Roto-Rooter makes for a great fit. Kyle’s passion and commitment to growing sprint car dirt racing is inspiring and it’s something we want to be a part of. We know it’s going to be an exciting year of High Limit racing and we are very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it.”
The Roto-Rooter Midweek Money Series will kick-off at Texarkana (Ark.) 67 Raceway on Wednesday, April 30 and conclude at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., on Wednesday, October 15. Arguably the most anticipated event on the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series schedule, the third-annual Eagle (Neb.) Nationals, paying $50,000-to-win, will take place on Tuesday, June 10. A full Roto-Rooter Midweek Series schedule is listed below.
"It's cool to see Roto-Rooter continue to grow their brand in the motorsports space,” said Larson. “Last year we hosted a lot of their great employees, many of them seeing dirt racing for the first time, so it’s great that they really liked what they saw and came back even bigger this year. I’m really excited to have them onboard the No. 57 Silva Motorsports sprint car with me all year and supporting High Limit's Midweek Series, which is where it all really started."
The top-three drivers in Roto-Rooter Midweek Series standings will be paid-out following the October 15 finale, with first place receiving $20,000, second $10,000 and third $5,000. Drivers are not required to compete on the full Kubota High Limit Racing schedule to be eligible for the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series prize money. The Roto-Rooter Midweek Series events do, however, count toward the overall Kubota High Limit Racing championship.
Indiana’s Tyler Courtney and the NOS Energy Drink No. 7 Clauson-Marshall Racing team won the Midweek Series in 2024 on a tiebreaker over Brad Sweet’s NAPA Auto Parts No. 49 Kasey Kahne Racing team. NASCAR Champion and co-founder of Kubota High Limit Racing, Kyle Larson, and Silva Motorsports won the inaugural season in 2023 in a nail-biter over fan-favorite Rico Abreu.
