Mike Gilsenan joins us this week on the podcast.  Mike is one of the unsung stories of Penn State football revealed in Rex's book The Forgotten Seasons:  Penn State Football 1977-1978.  He appeared on campus in 1975 after a stellar career at Tottenville High School in Staten Island, NY.  Mike saw very little of the field his first three years at Penn State.  However, he worked hard in the offseason after his junior season and earned a starting nod in the defensive backfield his senior season which was 1978.  He helped Penn State to an undefeated regular season and their first #1 ranking in Penn State history.  Enjoy this interview with Mike Gilsenan as we turn the clock back to the mid to late 1970s.
