We are privileged to have the quarterback of Penn State's last national championship team as our guest this week. John Shaffer joins us to discuss his recruitment to Penn State from Cincinnati Moeller High School along with the trials and tribulations leading up to those great seasons in 1985 and 1986. John won every game he started at Penn State with the exception of the 1986 Orange Bowl against Oklahoma. There is only one PSU quarterback with a better record and that was Chuck Burkhart (22-0 in 1968 and 1969). One word comes to mind when you think of John Shaffer, and that is WINNER!
