Jeff Katz joins us this week to talk about his book Split Season: 1981. I read this book and discovered many things about that season and the ongoing events of the time. I was 14 years old when the strike occurred, and I gained a perspective after reading the book that I did not have as a teenager. Jeff joins me to talk about that time with Fernandomania, Dave Winfield as a Yankee and other nuances with that 1981 season. This book is well written and edited and I recommend it to all baseball and sports lovers.
