Charlotte, (NC) - The best of the best in sprint car competition gathered at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the annual World of Outlaws World Finals over the recent weekend, and when the dust finally settled on Saturday night, Visalia, California’s Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) found themselves with three straight feature attempts and a full notebook, highlighting their four-day weekend in Concord, North Carolina, with a 15th-place score on Thursday, November 2. Eliason, a two-time All-Star Circuit of Champions winner in 2023, raced on to 18th and 20th-place scores the next two evenings.

Although the team’s results were shy of the ultimate goal, their short time together led to a sound foundation, building confidence and momentum against the best sprint car drivers in the world.

“It was a solid weekend in Charlotte with RSR. Our results definitely don’t paint the whole picture. The World Finals is a tough place to debut a new combination, but we threw everything we had at them and came out with some great notes,” Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Xpress Laundry, Folkens Bros Trucking, Rasmusson Service Center, No. 8 sprint car, stated. “I can’t thank Brian and Lisa Ridge enough for the opportunity. I’m excited to see what the future has in store.”

Ridge & Sons Racing will soon begin the rebuilding process for 2024. More news and information pertaining to next season will be released in the coming weeks.
