When you talk about the greatest college defensive players in history, Ross Browner has to come to mind. Ross played at Notre Dame (1973, 1975-1977) and also with the Cincinnati Bengals (1978-1986). Ross Browner was privileged to be a part of 2 national championships with Notre Dame (1973, 1977) and also appeared in Super Bowl XVI. Ross won the Outland Trophy in 1976 and also the Maxwell Award in 1977. He was the UPI Lineman of the Year in both 1976 and 1977.
